I’ve always enjoyed fortune cookies. Sometimes the fortune we read is ridiculous, sometimes spiritual, and sometimes it’s just “spot on!”

Did you know that Wonton Food, Inc in Brooklyn, NY makes 4 million fortune cookies a day? YES, and it was their Vice President, Donald Lau, who wrote the fortunes for 30 years, until 1995 when he got writer’s block. Then they hired a fortune writer to replace him. I read that fortune writers can make $50-75K. I want to write fortunes!

Back to the fortune I received. This time, it was TRUE! I was attending a funeral. I saw old friends and we laughed about our youth.
