Chicago – The Griffin Museum of Science & Industry (Griffin MSI) has a new exhibit, “007 Science: Inventing the World of James Bond.”
When I was young, my mother got so excited when there was a new James Bond movie coming out. Many of us would agree, even argue, that Sean Connery was the best James Bond, but Daniel Craig, right up there.
This sounds like an exciting exhibit focused on the science and technology behind the cars and gadgets used in the movies. For Educators, they’ve developed an Educator’s Guide filled with challenges and activities that promote STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics).
David Zaritsky, Bond fan, has a website, “The Bond Experience.” Anything and everything you want to know about James Bond. I had no idea there were these kind of fans out there. Someone referred to him as “Agent Zaritsky!” It’s an amusing website.
WGN News on YouTube shares some highlights on the actual exhibit.
The exhibit will be here until October 2024. I wouldn’t be surprised if some travel agents start to have tour packages for the exhibit.
James Bond 007, here I come!
