Recently, I saw this truck in Chicago. It brought back memories of when I moved to Seattle. A friend taught me that in Seattle, composting was mandatory. I learned what bin to buy that sat on my kitchen counter by the sink. I bought a specific composting bag/liner that went inside my container, so on garbage pick up day, it was easy to dispose of in the outdoor composting container.
When I saw this truck, I wondered why ALL of us are not composting through our garbage service versus individually signing up for a composting service like this one. I didn’t know it existed. Great advertising by the way!
