As I left St Peter’s Cemetery, I came to the courtyard of St Peter’s Church. There was a restaurant. They were setting up for an outdoor Christmas Market to serve drinks, etc.

As I kept going, I came to St Peter’s Church. I still love going into these old churches. We don’t make them like this anymore, we just restore them. In fact, I think new churches don’t even want stained glass windows anymore.


I lit a candle…


As you see from the map, they had quite a few chapels. I’m not sure why. I’d have to read up on that. Here was one that was in the cemetery. While it looked small from the outside, on entering, this architects’s design gave the feeling of grandeur. I enjoyed seeing the stained glass windows here.


Leaving the church / cemetery, I saw this Angel. I was lucky that there were not many tourists, so I could freely take photos without people in them.
A nice end to the day. The weather was COLD, I was grateful I had brought hat, scarf, gloves. More adventures await…
