Spark of Inspiration

Excited to start the new year until I got the dreaded email, “iCloud is full!”

January starts with an overhaul on photos (delete, delete, delete).

As the weather is cold, it’s a great time for reading. When I was young, I asked my mother for a book to read. We didn’t have cell phones back then.

She handed me “The Egyptian,” by Mika Waltari. I absolutely loved this book. I sat in the back of the school bus, every day, reading and reading.

Lately, I’ve been thinking of this book. It’s so old, I couldn’t find it at the library. I was pleasantly surprised, my Mom still had it.

A few other good books, some by the same author.

I’ve been bored lately with the new books that are coming out. I always felt a book should transport us somewhere else, they do not.

I’m looking forward to re-visiting Waltari, a treasured author.

Look at this cute puzzle, I’m being transported back to childhood again, when reading was magical.
