For those of you not from Chicago, you might not know that St Patrick’s Day celebrations are big here. They turn the Chicago River green.

We have a big Irish community.

This weekend was interesting. From the pictures, you’d think we had great weather. Well, on Saturday it was OK up until the afternoon,

Then it started snowing.

By Sunday night, we had a big snow storm, high winds. So, lucky that Saturday morning was OK, weather-wise.

I’m off, time to look for the pot of gold, LOL
