Spark of Inspiration

Do you have writer’s block? My daughter sent me this message today. I smiled and suddenly thought, that’s how I feel about my writing.

I’m knocking on the door of my brain saying, “ARE YOU THERE? Where should my story line go? What should my character do next? What names should I choose for my characters?”

The beauty and humor of this GIF is that my mind immediately thought, “YES, the ANSWERS are BEHIND that DOOR. If I can just get the door open, an avalanche of ideas will come flooding to me. It will be perfect!”

So, the BIG question is – HOW to open the door to our ideas?!
