A few weeks ago, I went to visit a friend in their “neck of the woods.” We went for a walk and I saw this Little Free Library stand.
I enjoy seeing what books people leave. When you look at the book donations, you get a feel for that particular neighborhood too. For example, some Little Free Library stands have tons of children’s books. So, of course, a family oriented neighborhood.
This particular Library stand was interesting. Oliver North’s book from 1991, that’s a really old book. Then one on being catholic and another one on hope. A book on religion and hope. I thought those books speak to the world we are in right now. We do need hope.
In some neighborhoods, these Little Free Libraries are like churches, they are on every block. They brighten my day and offer creative ideas too.
Does your neighborhood have Little Free Libraries?
