Sheep & Wool Festival

This weekend I went to the Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival. It was great fun. I like to knit, so it was amazing to see all of the booths filled with yarn.

A lot of people spin their wool. It was interesting to learn about that. There is also felting, I donโ€™t know much about that. Rug making with latch hooks. I did that when I was young. I liked this barn with the American flag.

There was a woman who made these pretty pin cushions. She filled them with walnut shell fillings. When I was young, I made bean bag frogs and filled them with bird seed. Her creativity reminded me of this. So cute, a sheep, a fox, a pig, a turtle, etc. She sold kits with instructions on how to make each one. I chose the sheep. The walnut shell filling felt like soft sand.

Of course, there was a sheep that hammed it up for the camera. Adorable!

If you havenโ€™t been to a sheep festival before, venture out.

Youโ€™ll have a great time!

Joanna, Iโ€™m not sure where youโ€™re located, but there are always events to go to. In fact, I need to write about Oktoberfest too. How fun that is! YOU always write such fabulous uplifting stories. Iโ€™m waiting for your next one. ๐Ÿ’•

Oh, nice. My sister lived in London for 13 years. One of the first things they said to her was, โ€œWhen in town, donโ€™t wear brown.โ€ She and her husband smiled at this. Okโ€ฆ Looking forward to your post tomorrow. -Monica
