Spark of Inspiration

The most wonderful thing happened yesterday. I was heading into the Aldi grocery store. A lady (black) and me (white) were about to collide into each other.

I kindly motioned to her, that she could go in first. She motioned to me to go in first.

I smiled and said, “Well, we could go into together!”

Which resulted in BOTH of us locking arms and marching inside together. We laughed all the while and said how this act of kindness put us both in such a great mood. It’s true, together is better.

As I went home, I thought, “If only the media would STOP indicating that we all hate each other and instead share loving stories like this, proving that there is more LOVE and KINDNESS than there is hate, we would be in a better world.”
