I don’t really celebrate Easter, but when I was young and when my children were young we did. Then in an email a few years ago, someone sent me a picture of a tree filled with easter eggs. I thought it was amusing, beautiful and certainly felt like Spring. My friend said it was a German tradition. It symbolizes, Spring, and rebirth.
I haven’t colored eggs in years either. So many traditions. Are they lost or will they re-start if I become a grandmother? I will do my best to re-start the traditions when the time comes.

It’s always been known in the Catholic Church that many people don’t attend church regularly, but they do go on Christmas and Easter. So, let’s see if the church is full this weekend or if people now watch mass online. This is quite common since COVID.
Happy Easter… for those who celebrate this holiday!
