Spark of Inspiration

There are some really special people in this world. Dr Bob Parry, pediatric surgeon who personalizes each surgery by making a bandage for his patients is one of them. He’s on staff at Akron Children’s Hospital in Ohio.

He said he’s done over 10,000 bandages for patients. While he’s not a professional artist, you can see from the few bandages here that he’s quite good. He definitely puts a lot of love into his art. Imagine a child waking up from surgery, it’s scary and this thoughtful distraction for the patient and parents is really wonderful.

I’ve heard this story before. I wanted to share it for those who have not heard it. Lately, many people are experiencing sadness and tough times.
