Fall – Audio books – Puzzles

When my children were young, we did a lot of puzzles in the evening. It was good bonding time. I would play an audio book. Traditions continue.

I’m listening to ā€œThe Case of the Missing Servant,ā€ by Tarquin Hall. It’s a nice detective story based in India. The narrator is Sam Dastor, he’s really good at his different character voices. I love his voice interpretation of the Indian mother lecturing her Detective son, very amusing. Of course, the son tells his mother she should not be meddling into his case. Well… LOL… She can’t help herself.

It was time for a puzzle!

I haven’t done a puzzle in a LONG time. I found this Halloween one, it looked fun, but SO MANY pieces. When suddenly, I put the pumpkin together.

What a cute pumpkin!

Isn’t that how puzzles start? We complete one section and then ā€œWE’RE IN!ā€

Teaching children to enjoy books, reading or listening — it’s empowering!

ADD a puzzle they like, and they’re hooked. Happy Fall!
