Chicago – American Victorian Stained Glass Exhibit

I was at Macy’s in Chicago. I went down to the lower level. As you know, not much happens in the lower level of a department store.

However, I saw a tour group walk by.

Curious, as to what could warrant a tour group in the basement, I followed.

We went into a corridor where there was this beautiful American Victorian Stained Glass Exhibit put on by Macy’s, the Smith Museum of Stained Glass Windows and the Chicago Cultural Mile Association.

It was really lovely. Up and down the corridor, beautiful stained glass.

So, happy to have seen this exhibit. Such a beautiful SURPRISE!

  2. Beautiful. When I was at Ft Myer Library, my friend, a stained glass artist and Tiffany glass almost expert, offered to lead a tour of a local Tiffany glass collection at a museum in DC. What a marvelous experience.
