It was one of those days. I felt lazy and didn’t want to walk, but forced myself. Got to get some exercise in.
Well, this was my surprise!
As I was walking on a narrow wooded street, I sensed something. I turned to my left and this deer was frozen in place.
I got the feeling he was “hiding himself” until I passed. I was SO CLOSE to him. I knew I probably should have kept walking, but I stopped and slowly took my IPhone out to take a picture. Hoping he wasn’t going to charge me.
We both stared at each other. I didn’t make any jerky movements. Took my photos and then slowly continued on.

I did turn back to assess the situation. Can you see? He was still frozen in place. He had not moved at all. Just the angle of his head.
