I was going to pick a blackberry, but I couldn’t. This hornet had gotten there FIRST. My gosh, he was enjoying himself. I thought he was in for a bad stomach ache most likely after eating so much. I was lucky to get this close up shot. Nature is amazing.

Fresh lettuce, I would love that. In the Midwest, and maybe because lettuce primarily comes in ready to go bags now, the lettuce is not fresh anymore. So, sure, I smiled when I saw this.
