I’m normally a coffee drinker; however, I get in tea moods and do a switch over. Recently, I was making Taylors of Harrogate, Yorkshire Gold black tea. I like the flavor of this tea. Black teas do have different flavors.
As I was letting the tea steep I noticed this foam in the tea bag. In all my years, I’ve never seen foam in any tea bag I’ve used. Is this common? Is the foam bad for you?

While we are talking about tea, I’d like to buy loose leaf tea. For the tea lovers out there. Do you know of any good online shops that sell loose leaf tea? Brands that you like?
My mother goes to an Indian restaurant and they sell black tea in a very big bag. When I visit her, she gives me some. It’s nice, very strong, good with milk.
My daughter went to College in Ireland. Her first year there she said, “Mama, every dorm has a tea kettle and they only drink Barry’s tea.”
Oh, and this was funny. The people in her house had a chart on the refrigerator with everyone’s name and how they liked their tea made. That way whomever was making tea, knew what each person preferred.
Here’s to drinking good tea!
