When my children were young, we did a lot of puzzles in the evening. It was good bonding time. I would play an audio book. Traditions continue.
Iām listening to āThe Case of the Missing Servant,ā by Tarquin Hall. Itās a nice detective story based in India. The narrator is Sam Dastor, heās really good at his different character voices. I love his voice interpretation of the Indian mother lecturing her Detective son, very amusing. Of course, the son tells his mother she should not be meddling into his case. Well⦠LOL⦠She canāt help herself.
It was time for a puzzle!
I havenāt done a puzzle in a LONG time. I found this Halloween one, it looked fun, but SO MANY pieces. When suddenly, I put the pumpkin together.
What a cute pumpkin!
Isnāt that how puzzles start? We complete one section and then āWEāRE IN!ā
Teaching children to enjoy books, reading or listening ā itās empowering!
ADD a puzzle they like, and theyāre hooked. Happy Fall!
