Winter, beauty of birds!

We’ve been having bitter cold temps. I mean, the type of temps that if you are without your gloves for 30 seconds, your hands feel almost frost bitten.

This made me wonder, how do the birds manage in these cold temps?

I haven’t heard them chirping, but I did see one on a car eating snow.

I had a cute video of this bird, but I don’t know how to upload it.

Then I found this nice bird puzzle. It was two sided, so double the fun!

Well, I’m READY for Spring and to be out walking again!

I did “try” to walk outside, but it was just too cold, so back to puzzling! LOL

  1. I haven’t worked one of the two-sided puzzles yet. I think I will order one. I have thought of putting two of my 300 piece ones together for a bigger challenge,

Hum, how would you put two 300 piece puzzles together. Trying to visualize that. You can just do a 1,000 piece, done. 🙂

      1. You would have to decide when looking at each and every piece, which puzzle it went with. Then you would have to have a space large enough to accommodate both puzzles. It would be quite challenging

Oh, I see. Yes, that would be challenging.

  2. How funny, I’m puzzling because it’s too HOT to go outside! (When you flip the double sided puzzle over is the picture finished? or is there more than one way to put together the middle?) stay warm, Linda x

When you flip the puzzle, it’s completed. So, I could cheat, take picture of one side… then say I did the “other side” and show you the picture. I wondered about that, but since one side is almost ALL white, and the other side is so colorful, you do know which side is which. Also, one side does look like the top of a puzzle and the other looks like the back side, they way the puzzle is cute. Look at a puzzle you are doing, I think you’ll understand what I mean.

      1. Interesting!! I guess it’s how the pieces are stamped / cut in the machine; there’s def a top and bottom feel to each piece. xx
